My family and I are thrilled that #TurningPoint in Old Bridge cannot keep a reservation. If they had then the 10 of us celebrating my birthday would not have found Brunch Box! We were surprised at the spacious room they have in the back. The food was unbelievable. As I said there were 10 of us; 4 children who ate up every morsel of their pancakes, 6 adults ordering everything from Egg Benny Omelet, to Banana Caramel French Toast, to Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles, and more! The beverages including the Pumpkin Frappe were amazing too! We will definitely be visiting again soon. We found a very special place and wanted to share it with you!

Brunch Box was such a cute little surprise! From the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall, but once you walk in, it’s nicely decorated and has such a chill vibe. I ordered the berry cream frappe, and my boyfriend got a coffee. Both were pretty good. For food, I had the chicken and waffles, and he got the bacon, egg, and cheese. The presentation was nice, but the flavor wasn’t really there for me. My boyfriend mentioned he’s been here before and loved the pizzettes, so I might try that next time. Staff was friendly, and overall it’s a nice spot to grab brunch.
Megan is the server to ask for!!! I had bubble waffle. And chicken. I wanted to take more to go. It was delicious. Fresh. Clean restaurant. Everyone’s food came out looking so delicious A must try. # RealtorPeggy #local
We were there Easter Sunday, last minute we wanted to eat brunch and we called. Their kitchen was already closing, but the lady said since they had some customers still, we could come anyway. It took us 15 minutes to get there but they allowed us in and knew it was us as soon as we entered! Food came out hot and quickly, and before ordering they gave us recommendations. The food was fantastic! We got their veggie omelet, potato pizzette, and their special Cassatta pancakes. Everything was amazing, we seasoned, and flavorful, and the pancakes were very unique and tasty! Great service and thank you again for getting us in so late!
Ok adding another review for their new special- the chimichanga rustica. At first I couldn’t decide if I wanted to have it for breakfast for lunch but ultimately took it on for breakfast. Little did I know that I was going on a trip straight back to flavor town. But this time, it was a little different. Usually my adventures take me on a nice, comfortable ride/ like traversing a calm sea on a bright sunny day but today- oh no, this was something completely special. The chimichangas rustica is the Lamborghini Huracan of vehicles that take your tastebuds to a place no mortal has ever stepped into. I saw the old gods and the new standing before me- in a place where we only hear of in stories but here I arrived with the warm tortilla wrapped around me like golden rays of sunshine on my back, cured Italian meats and cheeses- playful, savory delights that were reserved for only the highest of royalty.. but then, something else tickled my tastebuds, triggering the utmost delight of them all… As that warm blanket was struck by fork, I noticed the nectar of the gods surrounded the entire plate- carbonara. Now let me tell you about this carbonara- this is what our ancestors fought for. This is what epic poems are written about, this carbonara is what tasting history is like- no cream. This was made from scratch, made with love- you know that love a parent has for their child? This is almost that, like when the grinch’s heart grew 3 times the size that day. Tears rolled down my face, only rivaling the tears that came again that I was too full to order another. Sobbing, knowing that I trespassed to the domain of the gods and realizing that this voyage will end at the end of the month when the special ends. If you wish to experience nirvana you must - order this. A little different review in case anyone ever looked into their Italian catering items- but for NYE we ordered a half tray of lasagna and the pesto chicken. First off- this lasagna was HEAVY, and the aroma coming from that and pesto chicken made me salivate in the car. We cracked it open for a sneak peak and I almost felt like I was transported to Italy on the express plane from flavortown. I couldn’t wait til the evening to assess how dinner would be as the mystery was consuming me, so I took the plunge into what would be some of the best 5 minutes of lasagna history. As the tears rolled down my face in pure bliss, my wife heard me from the other room wondering as if something happened. I had to reassure her that everything wasn’t just fine, it was incredible, beautiful even. As I took another bite, I plunged deeper into lasagna and pesto heaven so she decided to partake in this adventure with me, equally enamored by the beauty of this meal. As we sat there in our kitchen, enjoying what very well might be the best lasagna in our life, were saddened that we had to wait til dinner to enjoy it again. Thank you for sitting through this read- it’s legitimately really good and was honestly made with love. If you need some catering, absolutely try them out!
Definitely a great brunch spot, looks tiny from the outside but very nice and spacious in the back after you walk in through a small hallway. It is updated and has wooden sturdy chairs. We called ahead for a party of ten and they were sooo attentive and warm and we had a great customer experience. They serve iced and hot seasonal drinks and the prices were definitely very affordable for what you get! The hollandaise was different and delicious-something I don’t ever eat but here it was great! The place is BYOB and they offer a brunch tray with juice and jam to add to your drinks!
Hands down best brunch spot around ! Fun, new, delicious variety of tasty breakfast/brunch food. Just what this area needed. It’s easy to tell the chef loves and takes pride in his cooking. My husband and I stopped in and ordered caramel shortcake frappes along with eggs bacon home fries platter, bubble waffle and banana crunch pancakes which were out of this world ! The chefs homemade jelly was super delicious along with the brioche toast. The service was exceptional our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Cute cozy place. We will definitely make this our usual spot and be sure to bring our friends and family in on this new gem in the area.
We originally were going to another brunch restaurant, but they had a 90 minute wait. Asked Google for another place nearby and they directed us to Brunch Box. I am so glad we went there. From the outside it is deceiving, but once inside it is quite nice. The service was outstanding, and the food was so good that we are planning our next visit. The menu has all the dishes you would expect from a brunch place with a little twist to make them even better. The specials on the chalkboard are amazing. It is a must try
